Our family-owned travel agency has been built on a foundation of unwavering quality, exceptional service, unmatched creativity & commitment to sustainability. Since 2020, we specialize in curating bespoke tailor-made experiences and vacation packages that showcase the best of what Greece has to offer.
Nikos & Georgia, the owners of The Greek Taxi, have explored FULL TIME the world from 2012 since 2019 and carry an extreme travel experience and global perspective. We have experienced an enormous mix of kindness & hospitality from the vast majority of locals regardless of their culture, skin colour, religion, social status, education, etc. Since 2020, we have decided to retire from our long trip around the world, settle down in our homeland & dedicate ourselves to the tourism & hospitality industry of our very own country.
How it works?
The Greek Taxi is not a corporation but a family. We only run a few trips every year and we truly choose quality than quantity.
First things first, we start from getting to know each other through a video or phone call. We have to get a deep understanding of what you are looking for and see if we are able to provide the best version of it.
The more information we gather, the better. When you want to come visit Greece, where you want to go, what exactly you want to go explore and experience, how long you want to travel around, what is your optimal pace and how much is your available budget roughly.
Based on the information that you provide, we will get back to you shortly with an initial itinerary, which will be fine tuned as we proceed.
The final tailor-made trip will include every little detail like your airport and port transfers, ferry and flight tickets, accommodation, private transportation, activities and suggestions about your free time. History, culture, beach time, local cuisine, outdoors, relaxation, adventure, wellness, you name it.
We will do our best to offer you an intense experience of Greece and we will make sure that you get the most out of the trip all the way along. We will go the extra mile for you to create memories, make new friends, be part of our Big Fat Greek family.
During the trip design process, we are open to questions, changes, additions, adjustments and tweaks that will perfectly match your expectations.

The Greek Taxi was everything we needed and desired to provide us transportation, safety, and enjoyment for a trip within Greece. Nikos, the proprietor, communicated with us immediately and clearly upon receiving every email we sent to him. By the time we were catching our flight to Greece, everything was in place. Our request was to have someone drive us from the apartment we would be staying in, in Athens, to Archaia Olympia to see the sights/sites there, overnight in Olympia, and additionally, to drive us up the nearby mountain to the Temple of Apollo, later to be driven to our next apartment in Nafplio. Nikos suggested how to make that work best and because of extra available time, that, if we would like, he could arrange a stop on the outskirts of Olympia at an olive farm for a short lesson in making olive oil, followed by lunch. This turned out to be a superb addition to a wonderful trip. Our driver, Georgia, was excellent. She was totally competent and confident with the many and most tricky parts of the road up to the temple. She was pleasant and fun to have as a traveling companion and alert to anything that would make the trip pleasurable for us. As well, the Greek Taxi minivan was a luxury ride across the Peloponnese Peninsula for us. ‘Couldn’t have asked for anything better! We highly recommend this company for enhancing your adventures in Greece.

The Greek Taxi was such an amazing company to work with! We highly recommend them for anyone coming to Athens. We used them for our entire trip. Nikos was incredibly communicative and helpful to work with. We told him what we were interested in doing ahead of time and we created an entire itinerary together. First, they picked us up at the airport, then later that day, we took a tour to Lake Vouliagmeni on the Greek Riviera and Sounion to see the Temple of Poseidon at sunset. It was amazing fantastic tour! Andreas was our driver for these two trips and again to and from the port for our ferry trip. He was amazing driver and tour guide! He picked us up on time, in a clean and comfortable car. He was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He gave us options of what to see and we made some changes along the way. He could not have been more accommodating! He gave us a lot of information about Athens and the country as a whole. On the way to the airport for our departure, George was our driver. He was also great, super friendly and on time. He even gave us some ideas for our next trip. We also took a full day trip with The Greek Taxi to Meteora. Georgia was our tour guide and she was wonderful, super friendly, and accommodating. Meteora is one of the most incredible places we have ever seen and definitely worth the drive time to get there. We had limited time in Athens, but we were so glad we went here! The photos do not do it justice! It is such a special place! We highly recommend this tour company for anyone going to Athens. We can’t wait to go back and explore more of Athens with this amazing company!
